This sigil represents Khepera, an ancient Egyptian solar deity, sometimes believed to be a form of the Sun God Ra. He is the god of the rising Sun and the symbol of resurrection. Depicted as a scarab beetle, or a human male with a scarab as a head, Khepera represents the Sun in the Underworld and is therefore connected with the mysteries of the Black Sun of Thagirion on the Tree of Qliphoth.
